CoLiving Cities in Indonesia

Why Indonesia is a great country for coliving

I stayed in Canggu, Bali, and I keep thinking about it. Tiny temples sit next to surf shops. Street food smells sweet and spicy. The vibe is laid back and a bit creative. Days are hot and sunny. Rain comes fast in the wet months. Most travellers enjoy the cafes and coworking spots. Internet is usually fast enough for video calls. For some, occasional slow patches or a power cut will be annoying. Cost of living is lower than home for many nomads. Still, areas near the beach can feel pricey. There is always something to do. Surf at dawn. Yoga at noon. Walk through green rice fields in the evening. I once bumped into a beach volleyball game at Echo Beach and joined in. That kind of random meetup happens a lot. Community is large and friendly. Meetups, skill swaps and weekend trips are easy to find. Arguably not the best place if you crave total silence. But if you want energy, good connections and sun, Canggu is hard to beat.
