Experience the best of coliving in Sri Lanka

I loved Sri Lanka as a nomad. The islands feel alive. Busy Colombo has fast internet, rooftop cafes and coworking spots where I met other remote workers. The south coast is all surf, sunsets and lazy beach days. I once found a sunset beach volleyball game in Mirissa and ended up chatting with a freelance designer until dark. Culture is loud and warm. Temples, tea stalls and tuk tuk honks are everywhere. The climate is tropical. Hot and humid on the coast. Cooler and misty in the hills around Kandy and Ella. For some, that heat will be amazing. Others may prefer the hill towns. Cost of living is low compared to Europe or the US. You can live simple or splurge on a nice guesthouse. Internet in cities is solid. Remote spots can be patchy and rely on 4G. Things to do never stop. Surf, hikes, trains through tea country, safaris and street food. Most travellers enjoy the friendly vibe and growing nomad community. Arguably not the best for strict routine. But great for adventure.
