CoLiving Cities in Costa Rica

Why Costa Rica should be your next coliving destination

Costa Rica feels like a big outdoor living room. Pura Vida is real. People move slow and smile. The coast is warm and sunny. The mountains are cool and green. It rains hard some months and the air smells like wet leaves. Most travellers enjoy the surf and the wildlife. I read about a Sunday beach volleyball game in Tamarindo that draws a bunch of nomads. I also heard a tiny cafe in Santa Teresa where freelancers share chargers and tips. For some, that community vibe will be amazing. Cost of living is lower than the US but not dirt cheap. Tourist towns can get pricey. Internet is solid in San Jose and popular beach towns. In remote jungles it can be spotty. There are plenty of coworking spaces, yoga classes and hikable volcanoes. If you love nature, friendly locals and a relaxed daily rhythm, Costa Rica is tough to beat. Arguably not the best if you need ultra low costs or perfect wifi everywhere.
