CoLiving Cities in Sweden

Why Sweden is perfect for coliving

Sweden feels calm and efficient. Cities are clean. People queue politely. Coffee is serious. Summers are bright. Winters are long and dark. For some, that cold is magic. You can hop from a hip cafe in Södermalm to forest trails in 20 minutes. I once set up my laptop in a small cafe and ended up joining a spontaneous coding session with locals. Nomads will like the internet. It is fast and reliable almost everywhere. Coworking spaces and meetups show up in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Most travellers enjoy the strong expat scene and easy English. Cost of living is on the high side, especially in the big cities, but smaller towns are friendlier on the wallet. Things to do are simple and honest. Ferry trips, sauna evenings, museum nights, winter Northern Lights if you go north. Arguably not the best place if you crave constant sun. But if you want nature, good wifi and a calm, focused vibe, Sweden is a sweet spot.
