Why coliving in Zagreb is a great choice
I fell for Zagreb fast. It feels like a small city with big culture. Old stone streets. Cozy cafés. Big parks where people walk dogs and sip coffee. The vibe is calm by day and lively at night. Summers get warm. Winters bring snow and a different kind of charm.
For digital nomads this works well. Cost of living is friendlier than Western Europe so you can rent a nice flat without breaking the bank. Internet is solid in apartments and most cafés. There are a few good coworking spots and regular meetups. Things to do are easy to find. Museums, flea markets, concerts, green spaces and quick train or bus trips to mountains or the coast.
Most travellers enjoy the local food scene and craft beers. For some, Zagreb will be amazing as a slow base. Arguably not the best place if you need beaches every day. I once sat at a street café and a player started an impromptu accordion jam. Everyone smiled. That felt like home.
