Why Tunisia should be your next coliving destination
Tunisia surprised me. The north feels Mediterranean with blue seas and white towns. The south opens to desert and big skies. The culture mixes Arab, Berber and French vibes. People are warm. Markets are loud and full of colors. For some, the heat in summer will be tough. Most travellers enjoy the mild winters.
Life as a nomad here is easy on the wallet. It is cheaper than Western Europe. You can find good cafes with fast wifi in Tunis and Sousse. I even found a small coworking space in the old town. Internet is usually solid in cities, patchier in the Sahara.
Things to do are many. Walk the medina, see Carthage ruins, try couscous, or take a desert trip. I once joined a sunset beach volleyball game in Hammamet I saw on a local group. Community is small but friendly. You meet other nomads in cafes and on Facebook. Arguably not for everyone, but it felt real and alive to me.
