Tirana feels alive in a small city way. Colorful buildings, loud cafes, and street art meet old communist blocks and Italian style squares. Summers are hot and sunny. Winters get cool and sometimes snowy in the nearby hills. I loved the mix of history and young energy. For digital nomads it checks many boxes. Cost of living is low compared to Western Europe.
