Seoul feels loud and alive. Bright signs. Small alleys filled with food. The seasons change hard. Hot, sticky summers. Cold, dry winters. For a nomad this is a city that keeps you busy.
Most travellers enjoy the cafe culture. You can work from a tiny coffee shop one day and a big co working space the next. Internet is fast everywhere. Plugs and seats are common. Cost of living is mid to high. For some, this will be amazing because you get great service and choices. For others it might feel pricey in central neighborhoods.
Things to do are endless. Night markets. Mountain hikes a short subway ride away. Museums and live music. I once worked by the Han River and ended up joining a sunset picnic with other remote workers. There are regular meetups in Hongdae and Itaewon. The community is real and friendly. Arguably not the best if you need long quiet stretches, but if you like energy this city is hard to beat.
