Why choose Seoul for your next coliving experience
I lived in Seoul for a few months and I still miss its energy. The city feels alive. Old palaces sit next to shiny towers. Streets smell like grilled meat and tteokbokki. Summers are hot and humid. Winters get cold and snowy. Spring and fall are perfect for walking.
Most travellers enjoy the fast internet. Cafes and co working spaces have great Wi Fi and lots of plugs. For some, the cost will be a shock. It is not cheap like Southeast Asia, but you can live well if you pick your neighborhood and eat at markets.
There is always stuff to do. Run along the Han River at dusk. Hike Bukhansan on a Sunday. Watch street performers in Hongdae. I once joined a small Han River picnic with fried chicken and strangers who became friends. The nomad community is growing. Meetups, language exchanges and startup events pop up every week. Arguably not the quiet retreat, but great if you like action and easy connections.
