Why choose Santa Marta for your next coliving experience

Santa Marta feels alive. The city sits on the Caribbean. Hot sun most days. A salty breeze cools the afternoons. Streets mix Indigenous, Afro-Colombian and Spanish roots. Markets shout. Music comes from corners. Food is fresh seafood and sweet fruit. I once watched a pickup volleyball game on the beach and joined for two terrible but fun sets. Most travellers enjoy the easy pace. Cost of living is friendly for nomads. You can eat well and find cheap rooms. Tourist spots cost more, but local markets save money. Internet is solid in cafes and the few coworking spots. Mobile data works well along the coast. For some, speeds will be enough to run meetings. Things to do are endless. Hike to Tayrona. Snorkel. Sip coffee in a plaza. Nightlife is small but warm. The nomad community is growing. Hostels and coworking spaces host meetups. Arguably not the best for cold-weather lovers, but if you want sun, sea and a real Colombian vibe, Santa Marta is easy to fall for.
