Why Rhodes should be your next coliving destination
Rhodes feels alive and easy. I spent days wandering white streets and nights in tavernas that blast Greek songs. The Old Town has this medieval, maze vibe. The coast is warm and sunny most of the year. Winters are mild. Summers are hot and busy. For some, that is amazing. For others, not so much.
Cost of living is fair. Cheaper than big European cities but not dirt cheap. Internet in cafes and most rentals was solid. I heard of a rooftop coworking spot and ran into a web dev from Berlin who swore by the fast cafe Wi Fi.
Things to do are endless. Swim at Elli Beach. Most travellers enjoy the sunset volley games there. Day trips to tiny islands and ruins break the work rhythm. The nomad crowd is small but friendly. There are expat meetups and slow coffee shops where people stay all afternoon. If you want sea, history, and decent work tools, Rhodes might surprise you.
