CoLiving Cities in Netherlands

Discover the benefits of coliving in Netherlands

The Netherlands feels like a compact, friendly lab for digital nomads. Cities are bike-first. People are direct and easy to talk to. Weather is mild and often rainy. Summers can be lovely. Winters are grey but never extreme. Internet is fast and steady. Coworking spots are everywhere. Most travellers enjoy the cafe culture. I once worked from a canal-side cafe in Amsterdam and ended up joining a spontaneous coding meet-up nearby. For some, this will be amazing. Costs are higher in Amsterdam and Utrecht. Smaller cities like Groningen or Haarlem feel cheaper and just as lively. There are great day trips. Museums, markets, beach volleyball at Scheveningen at sunset, and long cycling routes. Community is strong. Expats and startups mingle at weekly meet-ups. Arguably not the best if you crave endless sun. But if you like safe cities, quick trains, good coffee, and reliable Wi Fi, the Netherlands is a smart, fun base to work from.
