Why coliving in Marathopoli is a great choice
I fell for Marathopoli fast. It is a small fishing town on the Peloponnese coast. White houses, a tiny harbor, tavernas that grill fish all day. The vibe is slow. Sunsets hit hard. Summers are hot and dry. Winters stay mild.
Most travellers enjoy the simple life here. For digital nomads it feels affordable. Rent and meals cost less than in big Greek cities. Internet is usually fine. Cafes and a few guesthouses have Wi Fi. Mobile 4G works well, though it can be patchy some days.
There is plenty to do between work blocks. Swim at quiet beaches, try snorkeling, take a boat to nearby spots, or visit ancient ruins a short drive away. I once joined a beach volleyball game and ended the night sharing grilled sardines with a fisherman. Small community. You will meet other travellers at the port cafe. Arguably not the best if you need buzzing coworking spaces, but for calm workdays and sea views this town is a keeper.
