Top reasons to colive in Manila

Manila is loud, warm and full of life. I liked how old Spanish walls sit next to shiny malls and tiny street stalls. The weather is hot and humid with sudden heavy rain. Most travellers enjoy the noisy jeepneys, the cheap tasty food and the many small fiestas that pop up. For digital nomads it is easy to live here without spending a lot. Rent can be cheap if you look outside the main business areas. Wi Fi in cafes and coworking spaces is usually fast and steady, though power cuts happen sometimes. There are good coworking hubs in Makati, BGC and Poblacion. I once worked from a rooftop cafe in Poblacion and watched a wild sunset over the city. Community is friendly. You will find meetups and expat groups ready to share tips. Things to do are endless. Museums, street food tours, sunset walks on Manila Bay and quick trips to beaches or islands nearby. For some, this will be amazing. For others, the chaos might be too much.
