Malmö feels like a small city with big heart. Old brick streets meet new glass towers. It is relaxed and friendly. Summers are mild and good for biking. Winters get cold and windy, but cafes are cozy.
Cost of living is easier than Stockholm. For many nomads that is a good trade off. Internet is fast and steady. I worked from bright cafes and a neat coworking spot called Minc. Most travellers enjoy the mix of cultures here. Food markets at Möllevångstorget buzz with cheap bites and spicy smells. I read about Ribersborg beach volleyball and tried it one afternoon. It was simple and fun.
Things to do are easy. Ride a bike, visit galleries, sit by the canal, or hop a train to Lund. The community is small but global. You will find other remote workers and students. For some this will be amazing. Arguably it is not the wildest party city. But it is calm, creative, and very liveable.
