Lithuania surprised me. It feels small but alive. Vilnius has a cozy old town with baroque streets and cafés. Young people mix with slow old-timers. Most travellers enjoy the lively street art and tiny music bars. The weather changes a lot. Winters can be snowy and quiet. Summers are long and light. For sun lovers this might not be perfect, but summer evenings are magic.
For digital nomads it works well. Cities have fast internet and plenty of cafés with Wi Fi. Coworking spaces are easy to find in Vilnius and Kaunas. Cost of living is lower than Western Europe. Not dirt cheap like parts of Asia, but you get more for your money here. Things to do are everywhere. I once jumped into a beach volley game in Palanga after work. There are lakes, forests, castles and simple festivals. Community is real. Meetups and Facebook groups help you plug in. For some, this will be amazing. For others, it might feel small.
