Why Koh Pha-ngan should be your next coliving destination
Koh Pha-ngan is a messy, lovely island. I spent time there and it feels like two worlds. One side is chill yoga and green hills in Srithanu. The other is party energy at Haad Rin. The weather is hot and humid most months with heavy rain in the monsoon. Most travellers enjoy the slow island pace, the friendly markets and small temples by the sea.
For digital nomads it works well. Living costs are low to moderate. Cheap food and simple bungalows make the budget stretch. Internet can be fast in cafes and the few coworking spots in Thong Sala. In remote bungalows it gets patchy. Things to do are endless. Swim, hike to waterfalls, join a yoga class. I found a post online about an evening beach volleyball game that mixes locals and backpackers. That sounds like fun. The nomad community is real and small. For some this will be amazing. For others it might feel too quiet or too wild. Either way it has character you will not forget.
