Details
Stichting 't Kleverhuis aims to serve as a community living room for residents in the surrounding neighborhoods. It offers various spaces for rent to host group activities such as birthdays, meetings, neighborhood dinners, group meditations, speaker sessions, or movie nights. Additionally, it provides a space for aspiring entrepreneurs to hold meetings with clients and employees. The main goal is to foster social cohesion in the Frans Halsbuurt and Kleverparkbuurt areas by renting out spaces for individuals to engage in diverse activities, leading to the development of new social connections within the neighborhood.
The available spaces for rent at 't Kleverhuis include the Huiskamer, ideal for gatherings like workshops and family events, the Kantoor suitable for business purposes, and the Speelzaal, a former sports hall that can be used for children's activities or sports events. The spaces are usually rented out in 4-hour time slots, especially on weekends when demand is high, with flexible starting times upon agreement. 't Kleverhuis also offers the option to rent the spaces for private events like birthdays, family parties, or corporate meetings.
In response to the current demand, 't Kleverhuis has adapted to provide flexible coworking spaces to meet the needs of the community, offering a corona-proof working environment to address the requirements of individuals seeking temporary workplaces. These coworking spaces are equipped with 180cm wide tables, allowing for ample space to accommodate work essentials and extra screens, along with internet access and unlimited coffee and tea for a daily rental fee of €15. Moreover, the space is suitable for brainstorming sessions, providing a versatile setup with tables and chairs that can be arranged as needed, a wooden wall for post-it notes, and a flip chart for interactive sessions. The facility also offers a meeting room for larger group gatherings, workshops, or private discussions in a spacious layout that can comply with social distancing regulations.
