What you should know about Riverbend Housing Co-Op
Riverbend Housing Co-operative is a 72-suite residential co-op located on the Quay in New Westminster, a five-minute walk from the SkyTrain and adjacent to the Boardwalk. The property consists of stacked townhouse-style buildings offering one- and two-level suites with private outside entrances. Unit mix and approximate sizes are: 16 one-bedroom suites (~700 sq ft / ~65 sq m), 28 two-bedroom suites (~840–1,030 sq ft / ~78–96 sq m), and 28 three-bedroom suites (~1,073–1,200 sq ft / ~100–112 sq m). Suites are specified to include an electric range with self-cleaning oven, frost-free refrigerator/freezer, full bathroom, double-glazed windows with screens, and patio(s) or balcony(ies). Heating is provided via radiant baseboard units supplied from central boilers. Parking provision includes one secure underground stall per suite. The co-op encourages active member participation in governance, management, operation, and maintenance of the community. Pet policy permits up to two animals (cats and/or dogs) per member, with animals required to be leashed whenever outside the suite. All cats and dogs must be neutered or spayed prior to member move-in, with veterinary certification required; exotic pets require pre-approval from the co-op.
