Details

Industrie Fluviali is a multifaceted cultural ecosystem located in Rome, dedicated to fostering innovation across social, cultural, and technological realms. Spanning 2000 square meters of fully accessible and regenerated space, this hub consists of four distinct areas: Fluvio for coworking, Alveo for business meetings, Delta for events, and Riva for cultural and innovative initiatives. The overarching mission of Industrie Fluviali is to amplify the creative energies of professionals, businesses, and projects that contribute to building a vibrant future. The facility is designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring adaptive environments and technology to cater to diverse needs. It serves not only as a workspace but also as a venue for cultural production, hosting festivals, discussions, exhibitions, and workshops. This dynamic atmosphere allows for collaboration among creative talents, professionals, and institutions, ultimately facilitating a supportive network for cultural operators and social innovators. Industrie Fluviali also aims to promote social inclusion and community engagement through its projects. Operated by Pingo, a social cooperative focused on cultural dissemination and innovation, the space reflects a commitment to equality and diversity. 40% of Pingo’s members are individuals with disabilities, showcasing the cooperative's dedication to inclusion. The initiative has its roots in the historical Lavatoio Lanario Sonnino, a wool-washing factory established in the early 20th century. Following a thoughtful renovation in 2008 and the official launch of Industrie Fluviali in 2019, the space has been transformed into a versatile cultural hub. The historical significance of the location, situated near the River Tiber, symbolizes connection and community-building, further enriching the collaborative spirit that industries Fluviali encapsulates. Overall, Industries Fluviali stands out as a progressive model for urban regeneration, culture, and community engagement, marking a step towards a more inclusive and creative future in urban contexts.
