CoLivings in Chania

Why coliving in Chania is a great choice

I stayed in Chania for a month and kept thinking I might move here. The town feels lived in. Stone lanes, a busy Venetian harbor and loud cafes. The sun is out most of the year. Summers get hot. Winters are mild and green. Work is easy. Many cafes have good Wi Fi. Apartments often come with fast internet. For some, the connection on a seaside balcony might be spotty. Most travellers enjoy meeting other nomads at small coworking spots or at a laptop-friendly cafe by the lighthouse. Cost of living is lower than big European cities. Fresh food at the market is cheap. Tourist restaurants can be pricey. Things to do never end. Swim in Nea Chora. Hike Samaria Gorge. Take a boat to Elafonisi. Eat dakos and fresh fish. I once joined a beach volleyball game after a coffee meet up. People are friendly and curious. Arguably not the best for wild nightlife. But for slow work days and great views it is hard to beat.
