Top benefits of coliving in Bogotá
Bogotá feels alive. Streets pulse with art, music and coffee shops. The air is cool most days because the city sits high up. Mornings can be foggy and then sun bursts out. For some, that weather is perfect. For others, it takes getting used to.
Cost of living is friendlier than many big cities. You can find decent apartments and cheap street food. Internet is solid in cafes and coworking spaces. I liked a small rooftop spot in Chapinero where freelancers plug in and someone brings a guitar at lunch. Most travellers enjoy the free street art tours in La Candelaria. There are good museums, lively markets and hikes up to Monserrate with great city views.
Community is real. There are language exchanges, meetups and expat groups. Arguably not the best if you want beaches. But if you like culture, coffee and a busy city with good work spots, Bogotá might surprise you.
