Experience the benefits of coliving in Aveiro
I spent a week in Aveiro and kept thinking it felt like a small Venice with salt air and soft light. Colorful moliceiro boats glide the canals. The town is chill and arty. Students give it a lively buzz. The weather is mild most of the year with cool Atlantic breezes. Rain shows up in winter, but summers are breezy and pleasant.
For digital nomads this is sweet. Rent and food are cheaper than Lisbon. Cafes have solid Wi Fi and there are a few coworking spots. I loved biking along the canals between work sessions. Most travellers enjoy quick trips to Costa Nova for striped houses and a beach volleyball game. I once joined a sunset match with students who laughed at my terrible serves. Things to do include boat rides, salt flats, surfing nearby and weekend trips to Porto. For some, the slow pace will be amazing. For others, it might feel too quiet. I liked that balance.
