Why Viña del Mar should be your next coliving destination
I fell for Viña del Mar fast. It feels like a relaxed beach town with old gardens and colorful buildings. The air is mild. Summers are sunny and breezy. Winters can be cool and a bit foggy.
Rent and food are reasonable. Not the cheapest in Chile but cheaper than big cities. Most travellers enjoy the mix of calm beaches and lively cafes. Internet is solid. I found a few cafes with fast Wi Fi and a friendly coworking spot near the sea.
Things to do are easy. Walk the promenade. Take a short trip to Valparaíso for street art. Visit nearby wineries. I joined a sunset beach volleyball game at Reñaca and met a Chilean developer who works remotely.
There is a small nomad scene and many students. For some, the quieter vibe will be perfect. Arguably not the best if you need nonstop nightlife. But it makes a lovely base to work and explore.
