Varna feels like a small city that lives by the sea. Warm summers, mild winters, and a lot of sunny days. The vibe is relaxed and a bit salty. You find old Roman ruins, cozy fish restaurants, and a big park called the Sea Garden where people jog, picnic, or play music. Most travellers enjoy the easy pace and local festivals.
For digital nomads it works well. Cost of living is low compared to Western Europe. Food and rent feel like a bargain. Internet is solid in cafes and apartments. There are a few coworking spots and a growing expat scene. I once joined a sunset volleyball game by the Sea Garden after reading about it online. It turned into drinks with new friends.
Things to do are simple and fun. Beaches, day trips to small towns, museums, and lively summer nights. For some, this will be amazing. Arguably not the best if you need nonstop big city life.
