Why coliving in Turku is a great choice
I loved Turku for the calm river vibe and island feel. The Aura River has cafes and bikes all along it. In summer the city fills with light and outdoor tables. Winters are cold and short on sun. The culture mixes students, startups and old history. You can wander Turku Castle then hop a ferry to small islands.
For digital nomads this is nice. Internet is fast and steady. Cafes have sockets and quiet corners. There are coworking spots and a friendly student crowd. Cost of living is fair for Finland. Cheaper than Helsinki but not cheap like Southeast Asia. Most travellers enjoy the mix of nature and city.
Things to do are easy: sauna evenings, bike rides, island day trips and market food. I once joined a pickup beach volleyball game on Ruissalo. For some this will be amazing. For others, the darker winters might feel heavy. Overall it is relaxed, doable and surprisingly social.
