Discover the benefits of coliving in Taghazout
I fell in love with Taghazout the minute I saw the surf umbrellas and old fishing boats. It is a tiny village turned surf town. Sunny most days. Warm winters. The air smells of salt and mint. Berber culture mixes with surf camps and yoga classes. Locals sell fresh fish and sweet mint tea next to surf shops.
For digital nomads it works well. Cost of living feels low to moderate. You can find simple rooms and eat great food without spending a lot. Internet in cafes and coworking spaces is usually solid. Sometimes it gets slow during busy season. Most travellers enjoy working from rooftop cafes with ocean views.
Things to do are simple and good. Surf at Anchor Point. Hike the cliffs. Day trip to Paradise Valley. I once joined a beach volleyball game and ended up at a tagine dinner with new friends. The community is small, friendly and easy to meet. For some this will be amazing. For others, the quiet might feel limiting.
