Siargao feels like a slow surf town with palms and sand. Small fishing boats. Warm sun most days. Rain gets heavy in monsoon season. Most travellers enjoy the surf at Cloud 9 and the chill cafe vibe. I once met a web developer who coded between surf sets. Cost of living is low to moderate. You can eat and rent cheap if you skip the resorts. Internet is okay. Most cafes have decent Wi‑Fi and mobile 4G works in town. For some, this will be amazing. For others who need ultra fast upload, it may be frustrating. Things to do are endless.
