Sayulita feels like a small town made for slow days and late nights. The vibe is colorful and a little messy. Street art, surfboards, and taco stands everywhere. The weather is warm most of the year with a rainy season that turns everything bright green.
For digital nomads it hits a lot of boxes. There are cozy cafes and a few coworking spots with decent Wi Fi. Rent and food are cheaper than big cities but not super cheap. Most travellers enjoy the balance of low cost and good comfort. Surf lessons and yoga are easy to find. I once met a web designer at a taco cart who invited me to a beach bonfire and a sunrise surf. Things like that happen here.
Community is strong. Expect casual meetups, sunset drinks, and people swapping tips on the best taco. For some, the small town pace will be amazing. For others, it might feel too relaxed.
