Why Sassari is a great city for coliving
Sassari feels like a small city with a big life. Old stone streets. Busy piazzas. A student vibe thanks to the university. Summers are hot and sunny. Winters are cool and quick. Most travellers enjoy the open markets where people shout and spill stories. For some, this will be amazing.
Cost of living is friendly. Not as pricey as Rome or Milan. You can find cheap cafes and decent apartments. Internet in town is solid. I used cafe Wi-Fi and my phone had good 4G. There are a couple of coworking spots and cafe corners that work well for calls.
Things to do are simple and real. Walk the old town. Hit nearby beaches like Platamona or hop a bus to La Pelosa for postcard water. Hike the nearby hills. I read about weekend beach volley at Platamona and I saw locals chatting late in Piazza d'Italia. Arguably not the best for nonstop nightlife. But it is easy to live here and get work done.
