Why São Paulo is perfect for coliving
São Paulo feels alive. Big, noisy, creative. Hot in summer, some rain, mild winters. Streets pulse with music, food trucks, street art. I once worked from a café in Vila Madalena and a samba rehearsal started on the corner. Wi Fi stayed strong while I watched artists paint the wall.
Most travellers enjoy the food scene and the nights. Museums, parks like Ibirapuera, and Avenida Paulista on Sundays are great for people watching and slow work days. For digital nomads the city delivers. Coworking spaces are everywhere. Cafés have good internet. Apartments with fiber are common. Cost of living is lower than New York or London but not super cheap. You can eat well and still save.
There is a real nomad and expat crowd. Meetups and Slack groups help you plug in. Arguably not the best if you want quiet beaches, but for city life and work it can be amazing.
