CoLivings in Playa del Carmen

Experience the best of coliving in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen feels like a sunny roommate who always wants to hang out. Warm and tropical most of the year. Humid summers and quick rain in the wet months. The vibe mixes local Mexican life with a big expat crowd. Quinta Avenida buzzes with street music, taco stands and people from everywhere. For nomads, it mostly works. Cost of living is lower than the US or Europe but not dirt cheap. Internet is good. Coworking spots and cafes have reliable Wi Fi so you can actually get stuff done. There is a real community. Most travellers enjoy weekly meetups, and I even read about a beach volleyball group at Mamitas that meets on weekends. Things to do are endless. Snorkel reefs, visit cenotes, day trip to Cozumel or Tulum, or just eat fresh ceviche. For some, the tourist crowds will be perfect. For others, this will feel too busy. I liked the energy. You might too.
