Why Oaxaca City should be your next coliving destination

Oaxaca City feels alive but relaxed. Colorful streets. Loud markets. Old stone churches. Days are warm and nights cool because it sits in the mountains. Most travellers enjoy the food here. The markets slay. You will eat tlayudas and learn to love smoky mezcal. I read a blog where a nomad said a tiny bar taught them to taste mezcal like a pro. For some, that will be amazing. Cost of living is friendly. Street food and local buses keep bills low. Nice apartments near the centro cost more but are still fair. Internet is good in coworking spaces and many cafes. Zoom calls work. Occasional outages happen in storms. Things to do are endless. Museums, artisan markets, day trips to Monte Alban and Hierve el Agua. A growing nomad crowd meets for language swaps and rooftop beers. Arguably not the best place for beach junkies, but if you want culture, food, and a chill creative vibe, Oaxaca is hard to beat.
