Why choose Lausanne for your next coliving experience
Lausanne surprised me. It feels small but alive. The lake and Alps are always in view. Summers are warm and perfect for a swim. Winters bring snow and crisp air. The city mixes student energy with polished Swiss calm. Most travellers enjoy the café scene in Flon and the quiet vineyards of Lavaux nearby.
For digital nomads it works well. The internet is very fast and stable. Coworking spaces and quiet cafés are easy to find. For some, the cost of living will feel high. You pay more, but things run well and services are clean.
There is always something to do. I once joined a pick-up beach volleyball game at Vidy after a morning of emails. Hikes, farmers markets, music festivals and day trips to Geneva are close. The community is friendly. You will meet students, startup people and other nomads. Arguably not the best for nonstop nightlife. But if you want calm, views and reliable tech, Lausanne is lovely.
