Ghana is loud, bright, and full of smiles. The music is everywhere. The food is bold. The sun is steady most of the year. Cities like Accra feel lively and messy in the best way. Smaller towns are slower and cheap.
For digital nomads this works. Cost of living is lower than many Western cities but varies by neighborhood. Internet in Accra and Kumasi is usually fast enough for work. You will see cafes and a few coworking spots. For some, occasional power cuts or slow patches will be annoying. Most travellers enjoy the local tech and creative meetups. I read about a beach volleyball game at Kokrobite and ended up joining strangers who turned into friends by sunset.
Things to do are endless. Beaches with good vibes. Old forts to wander. Night markets and rooftop bars. The community is warm. Artists, coders, and makers hang out. Arguably not the best if you need perfect silence, but if you like heat, music, and new friends, this will be amazing.
