Egypt feels alive. The streets buzz with calls to prayer, cafes full of tea, and history on every corner. Cairo is loud and full of life. Dahab and Hurghada are slow and sandy. Winters are mild. Summers get hot. Most travellers enjoy the warm sun and long nights.
Cost of living is low compared with Europe. You can eat well and find cheap rooms or nicer places if you want. Internet is solid in cities and beach towns. Mobile 4G works most places. There are coworking spots and cafes with plugs.
Things to do never stop. See the pyramids, dive the Red Sea, wander markets, or take a desert trip. I once worked from a rooftop cafe in Dahab while people played beach volleyball below. It felt strange and perfect.
Community is small but friendly. You will meet other nomads in cafes and coworking spaces. For some, the noise and chaos will be too much. For others, it is exactly the kind of adventure you want.
