Why choose Cusco for your next coliving experience
Cusco feels alive. Old stone streets. Bright markets. Church bells and Andean drums. The air is thin. Plan for a slow first day. Most travellers enjoy morning walks in the Plaza de Armas watching bread sellers and music. The sun can be warm by day and cold at night. Rain comes in summer months.
For nomads this town has real perks. Food is amazing and cheap at markets. Cafes and a few coworking spaces have decent internet. I met a freelancer on a rooftop cafe who did Zoom calls fine most mornings. For some, the altitude is hard. For others, that is part of the magic.
There is a lively expat and traveler crowd. Weekends fill with hikes, Sacred Valley trips and ruins. I once joined a small group heading to Ollantaytambo on a whim. Community pop ups and language meetups keep things social. Arguably not the best for beach lovers. But if you want culture, history and a tight nomad scene, Cusco is worth a try.
