The true origin story behind the name involved a creative process where the name evolved from "Lome" to "Lomi" through a playful interaction involving a pet dog named Romeo, the founder's daughter Allegra pretending to be a Japanese chef, and a change in pronunciation during their game. This resulted in the name being finalized as "Lomi" for the project.
