It owns 29 properties with 104 units of affordable housing in North Islington. ICHC was established in 1975 and completed its development program between 1982 and 1996. The cooperative continues to upgrade its properties to meet Decent Homes Standards and tenants' expectations. Regarding membership, ICHC does not operate a waiting list. Vacancies are filled by nominations from Islington Council or referrals from Westminster Housing Co-op using Choice Based Letting. Those outside Islington are advised to contact their Local Authority Housing Department for assistance.
