Why Tartu is a great city for coliving
Listen, Tartu is a small university city. It feels young and slow at the same time. Cobblestone streets, river banks and lots of cafés. Summers are short and sweet. Winters get cold and snowy. Most travellers enjoy the cosy indoor life after dark. Estonia is very digital. You can do almost everything online and the internet is fast. For digital nomads that matters. Rent and food feel cheaper than big cities. You can afford a nice flat and café lunches. There are a few good coworking spaces and regular meetups. The university crowd keeps events and bars lively. I once stumbled into a late-night folk jam in a café and stayed until dawn. Things to do include river walks, small museums, galleries and bike rides to nearby nature. For some, this will be amazing. Arguably not the best if you want tropical weather. But if you like calm, cheap and plugged-in spots, try Tartu.
