Athens feels alive. Old stones meet street art. Sun hits the Acropolis at golden hour and suddenly your inbox does not matter as much. Summers are hot and bright. Winters are mild and a bit rainy. Arguably not the best if you want quiet countryside. But if you like history, coffee, and real city life you will probably love it.
