Discover the benefits of coliving in Byron Bay

Byron Bay feels like a long, easy breath. Warm sea air. Lots of sun. The town is surfy, artsy and a bit woo. Most travellers enjoy the small shops, organic cafes and sunrise walks to the lighthouse. For some, this will be amazing because the wellness and yoga scene is huge. Cost of living is higher than nearby towns. It is not as cheap as a hostel town. But many nomads find ways to save with shared houses and cooking. Internet is usually good. Cafes have solid wifi and there are a few coworking spots. I once joined a pickup beach volleyball game at Main Beach and ended up swapping work tips with a web designer from Berlin. Small stories like that happen a lot. Things to do are endless. Surf, hike in the hinterland, markets, live music. The nomad community is friendly and easy to meet. Arguably not the best if you need total silence or rock bottom rent. Otherwise it’s a sweet place to work and live.
