Top reasons to choose Bucharest for coliving

Bucharest surprised me. Old stone streets sit next to shiny malls. Cafes spill onto sidewalks. Summers get hot. Winters can be snowy. Spring and fall are sweet. Most travellers enjoy the low cost of living. Food and apartments cost less than in Western Europe. For some, this will be amazing. Internet is fast and steady. I worked from cozy cafes and a few solid coworking spaces. There are meetups and a small but growing nomad scene. I read online about a rooftop where expats end the week with cheap craft beer. Sounds right. Things to do are weirdly fun. Late night in Old Town. Big parks to bike. Therme spa for a lazy day. Museums and random street festivals happen a lot. Locals are blunt but warm. English is common, so you can get by. Arguably not the best place if you want beaches. But if you like a city with personality, good value and steady Wi Fi, Bucharest is worth a try.
