Why Bosnia and Herzegovina is perfect for coliving
Bosnia and Herzegovina surprised me. Old stone streets. Steep hills. A mix of mosques and churches. Coffee is serious here. People talk slow and laugh loud. Summers are warm. Winters bring snow on the nearby mountains. Most travellers enjoy the mix of history and raw city life.
For digital nomads this place is easy on the wallet. Not cheap like some towns, but much cheaper than big Western cities. Internet in Sarajevo and Mostar is solid. Fast enough for video calls most days. There are a few coworking spots and friendly cafes with wifi.
Things to do never end. Walk the Old Bridge in Mostar. Hike in the mountains. Try the street food. I once joined a small hike and ended up in a tiny tea house by a spring. Community is small but real. Expats, students and locals meet up at cafés and meetups. For some this will be amazing. For others it might feel too quiet. I liked the vibe. It feels like a place to slow down and get stuff done.
