Bolivia surprised me. It feels alive and close to the earth. Markets are loud and bright. People wear wool hats and sell fresh fruit. The vibe is rough around the edges and very real. Most travellers enjoy the street food and the slow pace in towns like Sucre. The climate changes fast. La Paz is high and cold. Cochabamba is springlike. Santa Cruz is hot and humid.
Cost of living is friendly to a budget. Cheap eats and simple rooms let you stay longer. Internet is okay in cities. Coworking spots and cafes have decent Wi Fi. In remote places it can be slow or drop out. For nomads who like nature there is a lot to do. Salar de Uyuni at sunrise will stop you. I once shared coca tea with photographers watching the salt flats glow. You can bike the Death Road, hike, or join local festivals.
There is a small nomad community. Locals are warm. Argubly not the best if you need nonstop high speed. For some, this will be amazing.
