Top benefits of coliving in Belgrade
Belgrade feels alive. The streets are noisy, friendly and a little rough around the edges. Summers get hot and sticky. Winters are cold and gray. Spring and fall are the best for wandering.
Cost of living is low compared to Western Europe. Cafes and beers do not hurt the wallet. Internet is fast in most cafes and in dedicated coworking spots. I worked from a bright space by the river and met other nomads. Most travellers enjoy the late nights on the splavovi river clubs. For some, that will be amazing. Others will want quieter days in leafy parks.
Things to do are everywhere. Walk Kalemegdan fortress. Eat cevapi in a tiny kafana. I once joined a midday volleyball game on Ada Ciganlija and felt instantly local. The expat and nomad groups are active. Meetups and language exchanges happen often. Arguably not the calmest city, but it is cheap, social and strangely charming for getting work done and living well.
