Andorra surprised me. It is a tiny mountain country with sharp peaks, stone villages and friendly locals. Winters bring deep snow and loud ski slopes. Summers are green and cool. The vibe is slow and outdoorsy. Most travellers enjoy the mix of fresh air and small town life.
For digital nomads it works well. Internet in towns is fast and reliable. There are a few cosy coworking spots and lots of cafes with plugs. Cost of living is not dirt cheap. It feels cheaper than big Western capitals but more than parts of Spain. Tax perks help some long stays. Things to do are endless. Skiing, long hikes, spa afternoons at Caldea and little markets. I read on a forum about a crew who meet for a sunrise hike then set up laptops in a mountain cafe. That sounds perfect. Community is small but tight. For some this will be amazing. Arguably not the best if you need big city nightlife.
